New Sewer Lift Station in Wellsville

The construction of the new lift station is well under way. After a long study of the needs of the community the decision to install the new lift station is coming to reality. The pumping station is located along 10th street and the point of connection to existing sewer is along Pendleton Ave. This addition to the sewer system in Wellsville will serve the area’s from Pendleton Ave going South to I-35 on the West side of K-33. This addition will also serve the area East of K-33 from I-35 to the BNSF Railroad and North. The completion of this project will be late fall or early winter. The City of Wellsville is taking this step to encourage the economic growth within the community.
