Wellsville’s form of government is Mayor/Council. We have a Comprehensive City Plan and have adopted City Zoning.

• There are 44 Volunteer Fire Personnel.
• Our Fire Insurance Class Inside City is 6, Outside City is 9.
• There are five Full-Time Police.
